Upstaging the Competition
We have two tours to display today: before staging and after staging. This 3 bed / 1 bath sits in the heart of the Woodland Heights neighborhood, near the trendy shops and eateries on Ingersoll and Grand. Take a look at how some furniture, artwork, and knickknacks took this house from a ho-hum rental to an artistic getaway! The home looks a lot more comfortable. And (bonus!) the rooms feel so much more spacious.
The Living Room
Before furniture, the living room layout was a mystery. How do you fit a comfortable sitting area with the hallway and front door where they are? Just one window? Isn’t it dark? What about a shoe rack?! Visitors were greeted with so many questions and dilemmas. Not a great way to welcome anyone…
After our genius interior designer created a layout and added furniture and stylish accessories the space is completely transformed. Who wouldn’t want to Netflix and chill in this area?
There were no major changes in the before and after for the kitchen. Towels and what I like to call “signs of life” (e.g. paper towel holder, spice rack…) added a touch of homeyness to the room. The little table takes advantage of the window which appeared lonely and awkward before. Obviously a functional addition, unique shape of the table makes it also interesting to look at.
Bed frames and a few dressers made a world of difference. Some of the rooms even look larger!
