The Berengaria Hotel

Happy Halloween!

Manny was busy digging through the Matterport 3D Gallery this week and stumbled across this spooky space. Nestled in the mountains of Cypress, the Beregaria Hotel opened in 1931 as a luxurious getaway for the rich and famous. The casino and nightlife bustling until the owner died and left the business in the hands of his three sons, none of whom had a mindset for successful business practices or mutual respect. Legend has it that all three mysteriously died. Add that to a hotel manager who committed suicide on the premises and two female ghosts said to roam around at sunset and you’ve got yourself one spooky space! Ghostly sightings aside, the property hosted some very influential people back in the day including Winston Churchill, the King of Egypt, and more! Read more about the hotel’s rich history here and check out the virtual tour if you dare.
